The Cyprus Institute (CyI) is a non-profit research and educational institution with a strong scientific and technological orientation, emphasizing on international collaborations and cross-disciplinary research and post graduate education. CyI, through its established research centers, addresses challenging issues that are important at both the regional and international levels. Many of its research activities are being carried out in partnership with leading institutions in the respective thematic areas.
The Cyprus Institute Graduate School is an accredited, degree-granting institution of higher education working diligently to become a regional center of educational excellence. It exclusively offers graduate programs and is committed to attracting competitive students from all parts of the world, providing them with modern knowledge and skills to serve innovative areas of science, society and tomorrow's economy.
The successful candidate will report to the Dean of the Graduate School and his/her duties will include the management of the day to day operations of the School, budget and financial planning, staffing and liaising with students and academics as well as the relevant national and international stakeholders. He/she will be coordinating the proper delivery and expansion of the educational and training programs portfolio and the development of policies and procedures ensuring the smooth operation of the School and safeguarding the quality of provision.
The appointment will be on a full time basis, initially for a fixed-term period, with the potential of renewal depending on performance and Institute needs.
